Busta Rhymes Cancels His Bushwick Collective Block Party Appearance

This year, one of the main draws to the Bushwick Collective’s annual block party was Busta Rhymes, the 90s phenomenon responsible for such hits as “Break Ya Neck” and “Pass the Courvosier, Part II.”

In an Instagram post, the collective announced that Busta would no longer attend “Due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict.”

We’re hoping Busta called in a few favors and had a hand in finding his own replacement. At the top of our wish list is P. Diddy, a frequent Busta collaborator.

We reached out to the collective to see if we could get a hint about Busta’s replacement, and we will update this article when we hear back.

Also, the rest of the lineup including Cam’ron, Foxy Brown, and Jules Santana still satisfies our nostalgia for the hits of the previous two decades, and as always, the block party promises to be a sun and beer drenched day.
