#DoBushwick: “You Won’t Stop Dancing This Weekend” Edition

okFIMmvF4yNgFlPcOZWhjA

“YOU SHOULD BE DANCING,” read a large, in-your-face billboard somewhere in Randomtown, NY when it hit me: “This is a message for me and I totally should be dancing.” To explain myself, I’ve been reading Pam Grout’s E-Cubed, a super-lovely book, in which the author offers nine DIY experiments to prove that our thoughts and wishes truly impact what we manifest in our lives. One of the assignments was to manifest a billboard with a message just for you. And I think this message applies to all of us in Bushwick. I mean, the temperature tomorrow is hitting 75 degrees (!!!!!) and with these epic events none of us will stop dancing! Ever! So hug your cat or human friend, and let’s go!

You should know that majority of our listed events are curated. Each week however, we reserve a couple of slots for sponsored events (marked #sponsored), which we like just as much as the curated ones. List your events with us too to ensure that everybody in Bushwick knows about them! (It’s only $29!) #DoBushwick comes out on Monday and Friday as a newsletter and a Bushwick Daily post. (Make sure you’re subscribed!)
