Summer’s almost over (finallyyyyyyy) and it’s time to get back into parka-shape. After weeks of idgaf hot dogs and pint after pint of who-cares-what-my-liver-thinks beers, it’s hard to have avoided clogging those arteries with summer fun. Well, here’s an opportunity to kick a health kick into high gear: Veggiepalooza at Brooklyn Grange!! One of many upcoming rooftop events at the borough’s favorite sky farm, Veggiepalooza is unique in offering only vegetarian fare, and it’s extra special because one of our very own Bushwick gems is contributing to the eats. Northeast Kingdom will pack your plate full of veggies, with the help of Pickle Shack, Scratchbread, VSpot, and Martha.

The tickets are a little steep for a spur-of-the-moment purchase ($85), but that includes beer, wine, and fresh juice cocktails, in addition to a hard core veggie feast and unbeatable views of the city skyline. Expect to start the evening with a cocktail hour, and then move on to a four course vegetable feast. But don’t expect to be provided with a plate. In the spirit of harvest, guests are asked to bring their own plate, to celebrate the color and personality that each diner brings to the table. So vegetarians and casual vegetable lovers alike, treat yourself to a post-Labor Day Palooza at Brooklyn Grange! Tickets are available here. Party starts at 6:30 PM next Wednesday, September 3rd.
