If you’re dreaming of listening to kickass rock music while enjoying some homemade barbecue and being surrounded by motorcycles (or if you secretly would love to be motorcycle chick Lana Del Rey in her “Ride” video) then you are just in luck! The Shop Brooklyn, the first and only legal bar operating in a motorcycle shop in NYC, is set to reopen off the Jefferson stop this summer.
Originally calling North Side Williamsburg its home, The Shop will now bring 5,000 square feet of bikes, bands, beer and BBQ to 234 Starr St. in Bushwick. “Our place will be more of a modern version of the old juke and rock joints in the South where you could have great food and drinks while listening to killer music and entertainment,” owner Dan Lyle told us.
The Shop plans to have a daily program of dinner (5 to 10PM) and a late night menu (11PM to 2AM on weekdays and 11PM to 4AM on weekends) all consisting of awesome barbecue and bar food. It will also be a place for you to catch some live music or DJing. Stay tuned to find out about The Shop’s grand opening!
