We exist because of our advertising partners. These businesses support Bushwick Daily and help keep the dream of local independent journalism alive in Bushwick. If you enjoy Bushwick Daily consider stopping by these businesses and supporting their efforts!

Neighborhood restaurant support comes from, Pine Box Rock Shop, Mominette French Bistro & Oyster Bar, Tiltz Sports Bar & Arcade, Millies Cuban Cafe, Precious Metal and Calabrije's Margaritas and Tacos.

Additional support comes from MetroRock Brooklyn and Artist & Craftsman Supply

Pine Box Rock Shop is owned and operated by bartenders and musicians. Jeff and Heather Rush have been performing in bands together since 1998. In 2003, that interest brought them from Seattle to Brooklyn. In that time, the couple has supported their musical and alcoholic addictions by slinging drinks at a handful of bars throughout the city. Along the way, they met Colin Peer, a New York native and fellow booze and music hound. The mutual interests of the three resulted in several years of planning and saving. The culmination of their efforts is Pine Box Rock Shop - a place the group has designed to be everything they feel a neighborhood bar and venue should be. Fans of music and drinking are sure to agree.

Calabrije's Margaritas & Tacos

Right off the Jefferson L Stop sits Calabrije’s, a colorful Mexican bar dedicated to sharing joy through art, music, and most importantly, margaritas.

Calabrije’s is casual – you order at the counter and quality is the priority. They know a good drink doesn’t need to be complicated or fussy, it needs to be well made, delicious and fun.

The 21 margarita flavors, crowned best in the city by New York Magazine’s GrubStreet are made to order with fresh fruit purees, no syrups allowed. This means, as the owner put it, ‘If you like the fruit, you’ll like the margarita.” There are more flavors than the rainbow has colors, as they say. All flavors can be served spicy, with jalapeño infused tequila, on the rocks, or frozen. Guests also combine flavors, like coconut and raspberry or mango and japaleño.
