Listening Party: Giallo Disco (This Is Not Daft Punk)

We were going to preview the new Daft Punk album this week on Listening Party but iTunes, and possibly every other music publication from here to Uranus, seemed to beat us to the punch. Instead, we’d like to introduce Bushwick to an equally discolicious, albeit darker, producer Antoni Maiovvi who focuses his music energy on what he deems ‘Giallo Disco.’ For the uninitiated ‘Giallo’ is an Italian crime drama film genre featuring stylistic elements of erotic horror. Mix that up with a little italo-disco and you have the ever suspenseful sounds of Antoni Maiovvi.
