Reuse America Vintage Warehouse, a cavernous vintage lovers’ paradise opened last February at 387 Bushwick Ave. in East Williamsburg. Since then, they have built quite a following, and a lot has changed!

Firstly, they have brought in so much stuff into their sprawling 6,000-square-foot location that you won’t know where to begin. Think six tractor trailer loads of stuff!

If you haven’t been to Reuse America in a while or if it is your first visit, you might want to set aside a couple of hours to take it all in, and explore all its nooks and crannies.

Every little corner contains a hidden treasure. A few people we spoke with when we visited to told us that they came in looking for something specific but they ended up with something really cool but completely different!

Part museum, part blast from the past, there is truly something for everyone. Are you looking for a nice selection of mid-century modern or vintage furniture? They’ve got it all. Explore bedroom furniture, coffee tables, dining tables, side tables, desks and more. There is an entire room with hundreds of chairs and stools of every type, from modern to antique. Lighting is all over the place with lots of mirrors and art. They have a huge industrial section with lots of cool industrial furniture, storage and a whole lot of reclaimed wood. They even make custom furniture.

Here’s a random selection of cool stuff we saw: musical instruments (!!!), tons of vintage electronics, vintage speakers, lots of vintage trunks, typewriters, old fans, old phones, scales, block and tackle, swords, old signs, records, tapes, vintage eyeglasses, vintage costume jewelry, vintage cufflinks, vintage ties, vintage pipes, vintage enamelware and cast iron pans, lots of vintage brass items, old pictures and slides, old advertising, old comics, magazines, adult magazines galore, old clocks, rubber stamps and letterpress items, medical instruments, lots of tin cans and wood boxes of all different kinds, vintage pins, matchbooks, vintage hats, vintage fabric and clothing, vintage keys and locks, vintage license plates, vintage housewares and much much more! And get this, we even found a real old oven, washing machine, two real slot machines, a vintage human skull, a huge antique wagon wheel, old subway signs, traffic lights and so many more unique items. The owner, Elliot Blitman, tells Bushwick Daily that he hunts around the city, upstate New York and Pennsylvania on a daily basis, and he enjoys bringing in unique items. He selects items from barns, factories and old homes and curates the items here.

So if you’re a a set designer, decorator, or a bar and restaurant owner you will cry with joy at Reuse America, and we promise you will stock up on unique items at very affordable prices because this is not your typical high-priced vintage shop. All items are priced to sell fast, so if you see something that you like, you’d better grab it because it will likely be gone the next day.
