The well-known Mikkel Borg Bjergsø of Mikkeller hasn’t visited the United States in over three years, and the first stop on his upcoming trip t0 New York City is at Bushwick’s own Arrogant Swine. Join in on the fun this Wednesday, September 2 starting at 5pm for a tap takeover featuring all Mikkeller beers. The best part? Meet Mikkel Borg Bjergsø himself.

Mikkel Borg Bjergsø is a former high-school science teacher who runs the popular Danish brewery Mikkeller. Known for crafting inventive beers and outsourcing brewing to facilities owned and operated by other people, Mikkel has a cult-like following amongst the craft beer community.

Tyson Ho, owner of Arrogant Swine, recently appeared on the Food Network’s “Burgers, Brew & ‘Que” hosted by Michael Symon.

Tyson states, “I’m excited to host the man himself. We’ve been supporters of Mikkeller beer since the opening of Arrogant Swine.”
