Bushwick Boxer Serrano Named ‘Fighter of the Decade’

Amanda “Real Deal” Serrano adds this accolade to her previous ‘Fighter of the Year’ awards

On December 8th, the Veteran Boxers Association of New York, Ring 8, announced Amanda Serrano as the ‘Fighter of the Decade.’ The southpaw boxer is a Brooklynite by-way-of Puerto Rico, and lives and trains in Bushwick

Serrano boasts record-setting title wins in seven weight divisions, holding more titles across weight classes than any other woman, and the most of any Puerto Rican boxer in fight history, according to Boxing Scene. Her overall fight record is 37-1-1, 27 KOs, including her most recent victory over Heather Hardy for the featherweight title this past September at Madison Square Garden.
