A Queens resident used Facebook to catch an adult who was trying to meet with a teenager near the Ridgewood- Bushwick border earlier this month.

A report in QNS reveals that the concerned citizen is Tony Blas, a plumber who grew up in Brooklyn.

He runs a sting operation online where he pretends to be teenager girls and then confronts the adults who try to chat with him or meet him up. Blas live streamed the recent Ridgewood- Bushwick encounter on a Facebook page called Team Loyalty Makes You Family.

The description reads: "27 YEAR OLD MAN LOOKING TO MEET 15 YEAR OLD GIRL (DECOY). FATHER/PLUMBER FROM BROOKLYN, NEW YORK EXPOSES PREDATOR!!"

Blas is seen sitting next to the Myrtle Avenue- Wyckoff Avenue stop of the L train and then walking under the M train tracks in search of the 27-year-old who was hoping to meet with a 15-year-old girl in the area past midnight.

When he finds the man, Blas confronts him and said that they were going to have a talk, or the police was going to be called. Blas then makes 27-year-old man him look into the camera and apologize for trying to meet up with an underage girl.

"You should be in jail," Blas is heard saying in the video.

The man is eventually allowed to run (not walk) away from Blas.

That particular video has garnered over 300 thousand views and has been shared over 6,000 times.

According to the feature in QNS, Blas is the father of a 5-year-old and was molested when he was younger. He has been taking it upon himself to catch predators online and expose their bad behavior for the last two months due to his past and concern for his own child's safety.

"I get off from work and this is what I do," said Blas in the video. "I believe in what I do, I'm passionate about what I do."
