We adore Ponyhof, the Brooklyn-via-Berlin-via-Brooklyn songstress whom we featured in our Upstairs Invite column.

#7 BURGER RECORDS x LADYGUNN BK Showcase ft. King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Juniper Rising, Fletcher C. Johnson, ONWE, Bad Girlfriend @ Baby’s All Right(SAT 8pm, $10)

Bushwick Daily <3 Burger Records and that’s no lie. This lineup is pretty baller, and features Fletcher C. Johnson, who is also playing the Bushwick Collective Block Party in June!

#6 Beverly, Las Rosas, The Moon Dudes @ Death By Audio (SAT 8pm, $?)



There’s some sizable buzz building around mysterious Bk garage poppers Beverly, whose only release to date, “Honey Do” is gorgeous. Playing alongside them is the ever-fantastic Las Rosas.

#5 Hardcore Activity in Progress @ Knockdown Center (FRI 8pm, $10)

This show is the hardcore version of last year’s Drone Festival, which we photographed and were generally amazed by. The Red Bull Music Academy doesn’t dissapoint, especially not with a lineup of so many talented artists, including Tim Hecker, Napalm Death, Gunplay, The Thing, Wolf Eyes, Regis, Bastard Noise, Lubomyr Melnyk, Skullflower, and more.

#4 Screaming Females, Bleeding Rainbow, Marvin Berry and The New Sound, Lilith Velkor, Pegasus Warning (DJ Set) @ Brooklyn Night Bazaar (FRI 7pm, $FREE)
