Though Miami is not lacking in amazing eats, Bushwick’s very own Roberta’s is planning to take the Dade County pizza scene up a few scrumptious notches.

According to the Miami New Times, the Roberta’s pop-up will open in Jungle Plaza in Miami’s Design District. The shop will stay open from October until April 2018.

Though the Roberta’s pop-up design plans have yet to be announced, it’s possible that the Miami location will use inspiration from some of the signature design features of the original Bushwick location.

According to Eater, Roberta’s co-founder Brandon Hoy says the move to Miami was inspired by the city’s culture and art scene: “Roberta’s has always been a supporter of art, design and ideation, which is why chose the Design District for our first venue in Miami. We love the vibe, style and continual evolution of the neighborhood and are thrilled to be a part of its next phase.”

We’re proud of Roberta’s glow up, and especially the owners’ decision to open in an amazing city like Miami. What do you think of the Roberta’s expansion move?
