MOCKINGBIRD

Lil' jazz dude - hush!

Everyone knows you didn't

write that tune.

Small wonder you only

attract your own kind.

PLACEBO

Dad said: there is no such thing as depression

only laziness,

so I was prescribed a busy life,

which worked until the day

I woke up

without a pulse.

SCHOHARIE, NY –

Another limousine crash

in New York

to justify Googling

'symptoms of depression'

in bed on a Saturday.

'but where, exactly, did they go?'

Please God,

maybe the Internet will know.
