Five men who police believe are responsible for two separate but very similar robberies that took place in Bushwick on one night in June were caught on video, and police hope the footage will help them identify and apprehend the suspects.

Both incidents occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, June 22nd, at about 2am.

During the first robbery, the five men assaulted and mugged a 21 year old male victim inside of the DeKalb Avenue station of the L line, showing him a handgun and taking his wallet and phone.

During the second robbery, four of the five men stood lookout as the fifth man, armed with a handgun, robbed a 25 year old male of his phone and approximately $400 in cash near the intersection of Stanhope street and Wyckoff Avenue.

All of the men are identified as being 18 and 25 years old and between 5’6″ and 5’10”.

Four of them are identified as black and were last seen wearing, respectively, a black backpack, a white t-shirt, black and white sweatpants, black sneakers with pink shoelaces; a black and red backpack and a dark colored shirt and dark colored shorts; a black backpack, a green shirt, black sweatpants and white sneakers, and a black and red backpack, a black sleeveless shirt, gray shorts and black sneakers.

The fifth man is identified as hispanic; no description of his outfit is available.
