Premier Bushwick DIY venue Silent Barn is looking for some goodwill-capable community-minded souls to assist with a couple of projects they have in the works, and if you like the local music scene and have experience being pleasant with strangers, that could mean YOU!

The Silent Barn is excited to have several upcoming opportunities this summer to meet our neighbors and spread the word to our surrounding Bushwick and Bedford-Stuyvesant communities about the resources, activities, and events that we have to offer. But we can use more helping hands! Do you enjoy any of the following activities?:

-staffing info tables at public events

-co-organizing block parties

-attending public meetings

-making new friends

-interacting with kids, young adults, senior citizens, and all types of people

-speaking Spanish

-maybe even marching in a parade
