It’s the best holiday Bushweek of your life.

We’ve got seven cool events that we have chosen for you personally. Unlike many events pages on other sites, these are actually fun. And we go to them.

Snap a selfie at one of these events and tag us on Instagram to get a shoutout during our next live Instagram broadcast on Sunday!

Monday: BUSHWICK IMPROVISED MUSIC SERIES

7-11:30 p.m. at Bushwick Public House, 1288 Myrtle Ave.

Check out five different sets of improvised, experimental music tonight at Bushwick Public House. If bass clarinets, synths, saxes, and avant-garde are words in your vocabulary (or even if they’re not) this event will get you grooving on Monday, bloody Monday. $10 suggested donation.

Tuesday: Mardi Gras brass & sass

9 p.m.-3 a.m. at House of Yes, 2 Wyckoff Ave.

Come over to the only Mardi Gras celebration in Bushwick that actually goes on parade. A New Orleans-style brass band will be playing at House of Yes  at 10 p.m. Get ready for sexy, death-defying circus performances, good drinks, and cheap friends. Costumes are strongly encouraged at this free event!

Free DIY Valentines

9 a.m.-8 p.m. at Artist & Craftsman Supply Bushwick, 1449 Broadway

This event goes on practically all day, so there’s no excuse not stop by and make a free DIY valentine for that special someone in your life. Single? Go make one anyway: you never know when you’ll meet that love of your life.

Wednesday: F-Valentine’s Day

6 p.m.-4 a.m. at Bushwick Country Club, 618 Grand St.

Come drink on “Singles Awareness Day.” Not much to this event except getting loaded with other singles — which, considering the “holiday” actually sounds like a good time.

Friday: GlowBall II: Paradise City

10 p.m.- 4 a.m. at Lot 45, 411 Troutman St.

Get yourself down to the Paradise City where the grass is green and the lights are glowy. Lot 45 is flipping on the blacklights, pumping up some beats, and putting on the glow. Get strobed, Bushwick.

?️ Saturday: Celestial Exploration Gong Bath

6-8 p.m. at Daya Yoga Studio, 360 Jefferson St.

Get your gong on for Chinese New Year at this yoga workshop. Transcend the mind, bypass the ego, and move into a space free of judgement — and strobe lights. There will be seven gongs in the workshops including a variety of other sound tools.

Sunday: Sunday Soul

4-8 p.m. at Artichoke Basille’s Pizza & Bar, 18 Wyckoff Ave.

Jive to classic R&B tunes all Sunday at Artichoke’s. Grab your foxiest girl/boy, a $5 drink, and shake your peacock feathers! Just don’t try showing off your moonwalk skills — especially after a couple of well shots.
