This week, you have a rare opportunity to clean out your underwear drawer while simultaneously helping to decorate the stage for a show called “Dirty Panties: The Musical” at House of Yes.

You can drop off your old, dirty panties at Queen of Falafel anytime this week for a chance to see your discarded underwear make an appearance on stage as part of a show that “is told through a collection of abstract and emotional vignettes of personal accounts and adventures of different sex workers across all parts of the the industry.”

Anya Sapozhnikova, the show’s creative director, says the panties will be used to create a giant wedding gown, which is made to look like a really dense lace. And during the show the wedding gown made of panties will also become a backdrop for a video.

Proceeds from the show will go to the Sex Workers Outreach Project, an organization devoted to “fundamental human rights of people involved in the sex trade and their communities, focusing on ending violence and stigma through education and advocacy.”

Sapozhnikova adds that “everything about the show is collaborative. [Collecting panties] is another way we could collaborate with the community.”

Dirty Panties: The Musical” premieres on Friday, March 10 at House of Yes at 8 p.m (Doors 7 p.m.). Tickets are $25-40.
