Brooklyn-based music and culture blog Alt Citizen‘s and its IRL space Alt Space has some exciting news this week – they will be moving from their current spot off the Montrose L to a new address in Bushwick. This means that your zine, fashion, music and art needs will be fulfilled just a short walk away from your apartment. The new spot hasn’t been revealed yet, but Alt Space will keep residency where it currently is through January 31.

In the meantime, its newest art exhibit, “The Daydreamers”, will be opening tonight from 6-9PM. Curated by Grace Miceli (aka @artbabygirl), this show will feature young artists such as Tyler Mitchell, Daisy Sanchez, Lula Hyers, Terrell Davis, and (Crybaby Zine editor-in-chief) Remi Riordan. Girls of Cult will also be DJing the event.

This show will be in collaboration with JumpfromPaper‘s Spring/Summer 2016 launch. JumpfromPaper, a modern Taipei-based fashion accessory brand, creates functional bags inspired by “Kids of the Internet Age”. With bold colors and thick lines reminiscent of cartoon illustrations, JumpfromPaper’s products are wearable art.

*So* if you are looking for something fun to do this evening stop by Alt Space at 41 Montrose Ave. between 6 and 9pm to check out some photography, dance to some music and support young art.
