Groupie Music Video Release Show

What is it?

Booked by Grandma presents Groupie’s music video release show with Saint Mela, Big Girl and The Narcotix.  

Where is it?

Our Wicked Lady’s rooftop, 153 Morgan Ave. 

When is it?

Doors at 7 p.m.

How much is it?

$10 in advance and $12 the day of the show.


The Opera House Presents

What is it?

Explore the art of 15 local Bushwick artists! Stay for live DJ sets and performances.

Where is it?

Brooklyn Art Cave, 897 Broadway. 

When is it?

7 – 11 p.m.

How much is it?

Free but donations are accepted. 


Saturday, November 6

Melrose Cleanup & Farm to People Event

What is it?

Support the Clean Bushwick Initiative and assist with a cleanup of Melrose Street between Irving Avenue and Knickerbocker Avenue and other surrounding streets. The cleanup will be followed by a celebration of Farm to People’s new compost drop off site. There will be arts and crafts activities, complimentary light snacks and drinks for sale. All proceeds will be donated to BK ROT

Where is it?

Farm to People, 1100 Flushing Ave. 

When is it?

The cleanup will take place from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. The following event will take place after the cleanup and last from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. 

How much is it?

The cleanup is free but donations to BK ROT can be made on the registration page


Bridge and Tunnel Brewery 6th Anniversary Party

What is it?

Celebrate Bridge and Tunnel Brewery’s sixth year on Decatur Street and ninth year as a brewery. Free food will be available and, of course, delicious craft beer will be also be available.

8 Fields Market

What is it?

The 8 Fields Market brings together various artists, local small businesses, publishers and small presses to highlight their work. A large range of vendors will be at the market. Check out the full list here.

Sweet Tooth Drag Brunch

What is it?

Sweet Tooth Drag Brunch features a diverse cast of Brooklyn’s finest drag and burlesque performers performing in Sweet Generation’s spacious bakery.

With an exclusive bakery brunch menu, seasonal fruity mimosas, beer, wine and much more, every purchase supports RISE (Sweet Generation’s nonprofit workforce development program serving young people from historically marginalized communities).

This is a 21+ and vaccinated only event.

Tuesday, November 9

OTA Academy: Vogue Workshop with Ricky Allure 

What is it?

OTA, an institution of the ballroom, runway and voguing scene in New York founded by Legendary Leggoh JohVera, introduces OTA Academy at Nowadays. Ricky Allure leads five classes in the month of November on the art of voguing, culminating with a mock ball on Tuesday, Dec. 7. All classes take place on the indoor dance floor, with Leggoh on the mic and at the controls of the big sound system.

Thirty spots are available. Water will be provided. BYO kneepads.

When is it?

6 – 9 p.m.

How much is it?

$25 per class, $80 for the full month.
