Lovers of orgasms and brunch, gather ’round:
This Sunday, October 16, Canadian author Sarah Barmack will join brunchers at Bushwick’s House of Yes to do a reading, signing and Q&A for her new book “Closer: Notes from the Orgasmic Frontier of Female Sexuality.”
In an interview with the Toronto Star, Barmack says that the book is inspired by the media attention surrounding female sexuality, and that the overwhelming consensus was that it is “complicated.” The aim of her book is to explore how women’s sexuality is being redefined in both scientific research and pop culture, she explains.
The reading and Q&A will involve sexy prizes from Babeland, fun vagina-themed party games, and marvelous dance beats from DJ Teddy Roosevelt.
Did we mention it’s free?
