UOVO:BROOKLYN is launching a new emerging artists prize: The UOVO Prize at the Brooklyn Museum.
The forum takes place on Sunday, July 24th, and will feature speakers, musical performances, and discussions followed by a march which ends at a picnic in Prospect Park.
Last Wednesday the Brooklyn Museum hosted its annual Brooklyn Artists Ball, honoring artists Vik Muniz, Wangechi Mutu and Roxie Paine as well as showcasing the work of Brooklyn artists that decorated the 16 tables of the dinner party
