The Department of Building's records for the building indicate that permits were filed in April of 2015 for work on the building at 578 Myrtle Ave with a proposed start date at the end of June 2015, but a complaint to the DOB indicates that renovations on the four family multi-use building started three months prior to that proposed start date. The recent renovations include interior and facade renovation and the replacement of some partition walls and plumbing fixtures.

On the Corcoran group's site the retail space is listed at a monthly rate of $3,700 and can be available immediately. The agent for the space notes that the rate is negotiable and says that Corcoran acquired the listing about a week ago.

Several other local churches have been other casualties of Bushwick's recent rapid redevelopment, as Bushwick Daily has previously observed; just a week ago, DNAinfo and the Brooklyn Daily Eagle reported the Bushwick Masonic Temple, also on Bushwick Ave, was recently approved for residential renovation by the Landmarks Preservation Commission.

The phone number listed for Iglesia Camino a Jerusalen's pastor Rafael Castore is disconnected.
