Arts in Bushwick website, revamped in 2015

As the days get longer and warmer, Arts in Bushwick is making ready for its ninth annual Bushwick Open Studios. As a prelude of what’s to come, the eighth annual AiB Benefit “Making History” held this past Sunday was a huge success. Visitors came out in record numbers to view the works of close to 400 local artists, mingle, enjoy the beer lovingly provided by Brooklyn Brewery, and purchase raffle tickets to win any one of the artworks on display. More opportunities to get involved with BOS15 are coming up, while at the AiB Blog, contributors explore street photography and profile local artists. Grab some sunscreen, people—these days are getting warmer.

Making History” will remain on display until 10 May. The exhibit at Storefront Ten Eyck is open all day. Raffle tickets may be purchased online through the AiB website.

If you haven’t created a profile on our new website or registered an online listing for #BOS15, swing by The Sampler this Sunday, 26 April. This next BOS mixer will be held from 2PM to 4PM.

If you missed the mixer last month at The Acheron, here’s your chance to Meet Your Neighbors who did join that evening. Next month will provide the final opportunities to register for #BOS15 in person: Saturday, 9 May, at Bizarre and Tuesday, 12 May, with location TBD.
