Still going in 2013, and no signs of slowing down? Us too. There is a whole lot of weather happening. Summer Weather, Political Weather, Cash Flow Weather, and all of it is looking pretty bleak as of late.... However, the weekend is right around the corner, and the music hasn't stopped flowing. Here at Bushwick Daily we have 10 reasons to move your body in Bushwick and beyond!

#1 ZombyDJ Assault @ Output (THU 10PM, $15/$20)

SELECTKA' pon de floor! Tonight is the right time for some A** and T*tties, A** and T*tties, A** A**...well hopefully you know the rest of DJ Assault's signature Song "A** & T*tties." This is the time to spend the cash. DJ Assault is a bucket lister of DJs. Zomby is gaining momentum right now with his hot track "With Love," which will clearly get into your head and set you at war against those bass bins. This is a heavy night - wear camo.

#2 KissesRush Midnight @ Mercury Lounge (FRI 10:30PM, $10)

Kisses bring a nice tropical synth show that you can dance to. Their song "Burmuda" will immediately transport you to a nice hammock right on the beach. Supporting them is Rush Midnight, who is growing on me with this track "Don't Give Me Your Love." This is a line up to relax the brain, and get to know they neighbor.

#3 Glasslands 7th Anniversary Party (w/ DJ sets from Bear in Heaven, Lemonade, Suckers) @ Glasslands Gallery (FRI 9PM, $5 with RSVP)

An exciting night for one of Williamsburg's oldest music venues! They've got a bunch of indie-celebs spinning, there will be endless dancing, and I'm sure the drinks will be flowing. Look out for free shots or pizza if they're feeling generous!

#4 Music Frees All Festival w/ AntibalasThe StepkidsPrince Paul (DJ set)Pegasus Warning @ Bell House (SAT 7PM, festival pass for the entire event $35)

Run, do not walk to this show! Get ready for World Beats, and deep cuts from this group. Another bucket lister band, Antibalas has a catalogue of tunes to make you feel good about your life choices.

#5 Van She (DJ Set), LadyHawke (DJ Set), Franco V (DJ Set) @ Tribeca Grand Hotel (FRI 10PM, FREE - RSVP)

If you are in the city, throw some big boy pants on and head to this. Van She and LadyHawke are young, hot, and will bring a Peaches meets Gossip Girl realness to your night. I will be rocking my sample sale wares.

It is rain in my face in my backyard!

#6 Electronic in Bushwick with Maudrie Fox, It is Rain in My Face, others @ The Living Gallery (SAT 9PM, $5)

Stay local and check out a whole crew of bedroom beat makers. Headlining is one of our faves, It Is Rain In My Face, with a slew of other people riding a chill wave. House party, gallery style.

#7 Kode9L-Vis 1990ReclooseKelelaObey City @ MoMA PS1 (SAT, $15 Adv/$18 day of)

MoMA is not slowing down this year, and we're so happy their dance-hard Warm Up Series is back! Spend the daytime hours amongst art and sprinklers, getting down with some dance music. Kode9 is heavy bass lines with crisp high hats. Wait for the drop on "Black Sun," you will be pleased. L-Vis 1990 is also a must see, as his Boiler Room set is unreal with crafty mixing that will leave you breathless on the dance floor. Ladies, I suggest this because it's going to be a meat market with sexy beats.

So So Glos - pic courtesy of thebomberjacket.com

#8 The So So Glos, The Moon Dudes, Las Rosas, New Cross, Special Guests @ Rippers (SAT, noon, free!)

It's time to get out in the sun, vampires. Hometown heroes So So Glos are not going to be this accessible much longer - they are blowing up. The supporting acts are a hodge podge of other fun bands, and this will turn into a good ol' band meet up. Bring your demos!

#9 Roomrunner, Greys, more @ Shea Stadium (FRI 8PM, $8)

Punk-lovers, look no further, for your weekend is made. Loud as f*ck rockers Greys are here from Toronto to make your while worth it. Joined by Roomrunner, Baltimore's punk noise band, prepare to get sloppy.

#10 Luau Party featuring Poodles and DjBoogie @ DuckDuck (SAT 6PM,  $FREE)

Don your hula gear because it's a tropical party at DuckDuck this Saturday. There will be live surf rock from local band The Poodles (no, not the Swedish Glam Band you may be thinking of) and a dance party to follow. Also, jello shots, girls (and guys, I'm sure) in bikinis, and pulled pork sammies. Aloooha!

These shows are worth the money, sweat, and hassle of getting out. So widen your music knowledge and genres this weekend. I will be widening my mouth around these establishments' cocktails in proper sippy cup fashion. Remember to high-five me when you see me holding onto the wall, trying to find my phone. "Where's my phone?" I will ask. Just tell me I have it.
