Happy Monday, Bushwick.

The weekends are never long enough, so that’s why we’ve listed a whole workweek of free and cheap events happening in the neighborhood.

And as always, snap some pics at one of the events below, tag Bushwick Daily on Instagram, and let us show the digital world how awesome your life really is!

Monday: Final Drawing Session at Silent Barn

8-11 p.m. at Silent Barn, 603 Bushwick Ave.

Silent Bar is closing on April 30, and tonight is the last time you’ll be able to attend the DIY space’s famous live-drawing sessions. Basic materials will be provided and all ages are welcomed. Entry is priced at a sliding-scale from $7-$10.

Tuesday: Free Self-defense workshop

5-8 p.m. at The Living Gallery, 172 Allen St.

Learn how to kick some ass and defend yourself for free at this pop-up gym.

Wednesday: Speed-Roomating

6:30-8 p.m. at Matt Torey’s, 46 Bushwick Ave.

SpeedRoommating is a super cool way to bypass the pains, aches, and awkwardness of scouring the city for a place to live. At these weekly events, you can meet a bunch of potential new roommates at one convenient location — and they’re free to attend!

Thursday: I give 100 fucks: Solo show and fundraiser by Adam Fujita

6-10 p.m. at 3rd Ethos Gallery, 154 Knickerbocker Ave.

You’ve probably seen Adam Fujita’s neon street art everywhere in Bushwick. Fujita calls his latest show “a vulgar public display of altruism” that redefines empathy and advocacy. There will be 100 unique pieces of art for sale, and all proceeds will benefit 100 individual charities of different causes. You can check out the opening reception for free.

Friday: Cannabidiol Education

4:20 p.m.-12 a.m. at Caffeine Underground, 447 Central Ave.

Learn about the benefits of CBD, a legal compound in marijuana that’s served in Caffeine Underground’s drinks. Flower Power Coffee Co. educator and pharmacist Dr. Craig Leivent will be leading the discussion, followed by some DJ action later at night.
