A freeform radio station which runs out of the basement of a Bushwick Bike shop is gearing up for its third season.

Radio Free Brooklyn, which debuted on the airwaves just about a year ago, launches season 3 this coming Monday, May 16th.

The radio station, which is accessible on its website or via iTunes or the app TuneIn, will present a slew of new shows in addition to its already robust schedule. Its new shows run the gamut from a daily musical showcase called Brooklyn Bandstand to niche offerings such as The Influence Show, focused on drug policy, to The Sad Show, a Sunday night, hour-long show comprised solely of sad songs.

More than 100 creators are involved in Radio Free Brooklyn, which is headquartered at Velo Brooklyn Bike Shop on DeKalb Avenue.

"We're excited to bring our free-form radio extravaganza to the listeners of the neighborhood and beyond," RFB host Ariel Speedwagon tells Bushwick Daily.

Tune in, Bushwick!
