Little Cinema No 13 - Purple Rain Immersive Screening Feat House Of Yes & Prince After Party: Tuesday, April 26th at 8pm at House of Yes (2 Wyckoff Ave)

Maybe it's been a while since you last watched Prince's semi-autobiographical film, which won an Oscar for Best Music in 1985—or maybe you've never seen it in all its glory. Either way, catching it at House of Yes next Tuesday is the best way to see it as it should be seen: in the presence of those who love it and followed by a dance party.

Prince Listening and Viewing Party: Sunday, April 24th from 3:30pm-8pm at the Rosemont (63 Montrose Ave)

East Williamsburg newcomer The Rosemont is a cocktail lounge and music venue focused on jazz from the owner of Trash bar. Last night the spot started serving up purple rain shots, and on Sunday the space will be hosting a party at which Prince's videos will be projected and musicians will play his work live. The event coincides with the Rosemont's Sunday happy hour, and in addition to the themed shots, attendees can sip a cocktail called The Purple One.

Prince Dance Party After Party at n+1's Issue 25 Launch Party: Friday, April 22nd, $10, 8pm-12am at Signal Gallery (260 Johnson Ave)

Lit mag n+1's 25th issue, which launches today, features work that relates to the concept "slow burn:" as Prince was nothing if not smoldering, it's only appropriate that his music will be among the tunes spun by DJ Gene Jnr at the event. Beer will be provided by Brooklyn Brewery and entrance is free for n+1 subscribers and $10 for everyone else (a free copy of the latest mag is included in the price of admission).

Are you hosting a Prince tribute we should include here? Drop us a line and let us know.
