All the craziest party animals of Brooklyn will come together this coming Saturday, March 21 at 9PM to Lot 45 (411 Troutman Ave). Brooklyn Nightlife Awards, arguably the most important event ever, is a celebration of all things crazy, glitzy, weird, fun and of course Brooklyn!
Created by Brooklyn’s sweetheart of a drag queen, Merrie Cherry, the BNAs will show respect to the movers and shakers of the scene, and allow for stronger connections to be made with one another. “It’s not about who wins, it’s about who you meet and your experiences,” wrote on her Facebook page, Merri.
The awards will be given in 18 categories, which include awards to the scene kid, best DJ, best performer, best burlesque/boylesque, best social media presence as well we the best publisher where thanks to your sweet votes also Bushwick Daily is a nominee. The event will be hosted by Merrie Cherry and Misty Meaner aka Ryan Skilton Rify Royalty. We can all look forward to the performances by Will Sheridan, Mizz June, Mocha Lite and Horrorchata, Jonathan Clarence, Chris of Hur, Aaron Thomas Dance, The Boobies, Boy Georgia and Manifestany Squirtz.
Judging from last year’s awards, BNAs will be an insane fun and probably the best thing you can do on Saturday night! So wear something glamorous, and see you there!
