In light of a little holiday that cozy couples call “Valentine’s Day,” and the rest of us singles refer to as “The Day That Shall Not Be Named, nor Referred To,” The Bushwick Daily staff is putting together a shin-dig of epic proportions! In a move of shameless love promotion, Bushwick Daily will be hosting the Fishnets and Bowties Valentine’s Day Party at Bizarre on February 13th! Said costumes very much encouraged.

There will be drink specials, DJs, a band, giveaways…and that’s not all: we are also going to be hosting out first ever film festival! So, if you are a film, video installation, or music video artists, we want you to submit your work to be screened at an exclusive, curated, one night celebration of love, life, and art.

Whether you are a video artist, director, or in a band, your submissions are welcome. Keeping in mind the projected theme of the evening, all the better if your videos are loosely “love” or “sexy” themed. Being the open and liberally-minded blog that we are, this trope is wide and open to interpretation, of course. If you are interested in participating, please submit your video HERE by Monday February 10th for consideration.
