According to their press release, “BEMF has striven to blur genre boundaries and push past notions of underground and commercial in order to simply present artists that need to be heard in NYC. As such it has championed diverse artists like Hudson Mohawke, Nicolas Jaar and The Black Madonna, well before they burst into popular conscience.”

BEMF will also host daily daytime panel sessions and fireside chats hosted with BEMF’s media partner, THUMP (VICE’s dance music platform )and music technology company, Novation. Festival passes are $95 with day passes going for $50.
