Things are speeding up around here and with Bushwick Open Studios getting nearer (oh so near!) they aren’t slowing down. Don’t lose momentum as we get ready for one of the biggest neighborhood events of the year!

To kick things off, Brooklyn Brush Studios (BBS) will hold a preview and cocktail event on Tuesday, May 27 in anticipation of their live auction on Friday, May 30 inside Parenthesis Art Space (located inside BBS at 203 Harrison Place, 3rd floor). Both emerging and seasoned art collectors—this is your sneak preview of the some of latest and greatest from our art community.

Simply register to join the auction and you will receive your invitation to the VIP preview & cocktail event.

Luis Martin, Director of Programming at Brooklyn Brush Studios, explained: “The auction presents an opportunity for the general public to take the first step into art collecting, while entering a palpable community centered around Bushwick and more specifically Brooklyn Brush Studios.”

This auction is the first in a series of events and programs scheduled throughout the year that will promote artist works, foster new strategies and support artist labor.

Located just a block north of Flushing Ave and Wyckoff Ave, BBS opened its doors earlier this year with new and reasonably priced studio space  for everyone from artists to the self-employed tech start-up entrepreneur.
