Haunted Newtown Creek Boat Tour

by | 10.22.12 | 0 Comments

Newtown Creek is getting even creepier than usually! Newtown Creek Alliance is organizing a A Very Spooky Boat Tour,  a twilight tour aboard a (possibly haunted) NYC Water Taxi.

Newtown Creek, dear friends, is an estuary that forms part of the border between Brooklyn and Queens, and currently also is one of the most polluted sites in America… Newtown Creek Alliance is a community-based organization dedicated to restoring, revealing and revitalizing Newtown Creek. They also have been organizing boat tours of the Creek for some time now. For Halloween they are promising something extra spooky and mysterious….

The tour is scheduled for October 27, 2012 4:30 – 6:30pm. Depart/return is via South Street Seaport
, Pier 16. $20 per ghoul will ensure likely unforgettable experience. Oh, and the masks are encouraged!
