A newcomer to Bushwick the Pine Box Rock Shop is everything a local bar should be. A daily happy hour that begins when the doors open until 8 pm will surely please those unabashed drinkers that find themselves in bars before the sun has set. In in the spirit of maintaning a lifesyle of healthy/unhealthy habits the vegaterian and vegan creations are a nice change of pace from the fried offerings that have creeped up onto most bar menus these days. The large space is inviting and the woodwork interior is impressive. The back of the bar’s hidden cove usually has some good live indie-rock going. For those of you who require more than just standing around waiting for that boozy buzz to kick in then Wednesday is trivia night and Thursday night you can Karaoke with the ones you love.
